Structural Strength: Precast concrete manholes
- Concrete must have compressive strength according to the design, not less than 25 MPa for A15 type and not less than 45 MPa for other types.
- The steel reinforcement used in the products must comply with TCVN 1651-1:2008, TCVN 1651-2:2008, TCVN 1651-3:2008, and TCVN 6288:1997.
- Load-bearing capacity requirements: Load-bearing capacity of the cover and grate.
- The steel reinforcement structure used to produce precast concrete pipes at AMACCAO complies with the national standard TCVN 10333-3:2014 for thin-walled precast reinforced concrete drainage manholes and corresponding standards.
Precast manholes are designed and installed to collect waste and debris in the drainage system to prevent obstruction of the flow. They also provide easy access for maintenance and repair of the drainage system by personnel.
